A mid Jakarta’s ongoing transformation into a modern and sustainable business capital, a new symbol of progress rises: BSI Tower Gambir. Strategically located in Medan Merdeka Selatan, at the heart of the capital and in proximity to Monas, the Ministry of SOEs, and Danareksa Tower, BSI Tower stands in one of Jakarta's most prestigious areas.
More than just a building, BSI Tower is envisioned as a symbol of Bank Syariah Indonesia’s identity in the nation’s capital. Its architectural vision rests on three principles: Iconic, Integrated, and Islamic.
As part of the elite Ring 1 zone, the tower is designed to become a landmark structure that visually stands out among state-owned financial institutions. Its vertical and elegant form represents the modern spirit of Indonesia’s Islamic banking.
The integrated aspect is seen in its direct physical connection to Danareksa Tower through a skybridge, fostering synergy among state-owned institutions. Its accessibility to public transport and proximity to government and business districts further amplify its strategic value. The Islamic character of the building is deeply embedded in the design approach—Islamic geometric motifs are reflected on the façade and throughout the interior. Room orientation is also carefully aligned with the qibla, ensuring spiritual and functional harmony in the workspace.
BSI Tower is built on approximately 5,800 square meters of land, with 22 floors of office space, 9 parking podium levels, and 1 basement. A spacious ballroom with a capacity of 1,100 people accommodates various corporate and religious events.
The project applies Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, enabling seamless digital planning, construction, and monitoring. The structure relies on dry boring bored pile foundations, ensuring stability with minimal environmental impact—especially suited for dense urban areas. The façade utilizes Double Glass Unit (DGU) with air gaps for superior thermal and acoustic insulation. Smart technologies, including Destination Control System elevators, 24/7 security, and a Building Automation System (BAS), are integrated to enhance comfort and operational efficiency.
From a sustainability standpoint, BSI Tower features solar panels on the rooftop, EV charging systems, and green design elements, aiming for a Gold rating from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI). For interior works, automated trowel machines ensure high-precision finishes, while premium natural materials like marble elevate the building’s visual and tactile elegance.
